Georgina is a professional, personable and highly experienced therapist whom I trust implicitly, so much so that she also helped my young adult sons navigate big changes in their lives. Both greatly benefitting from her practical advice and insights. She has guided me through several difficult moments and - in retrospect - I could not have done it without her. Perhaps most impressive about Georgina is that one leaves her sessions with a sense of lightness, positivity and a raft of tools with which to tackle problems in the future. Motivation and Confidence:
Through Discover Balance and Georgina’s intuitive, solutions based approach to coaching & hypnotherapy, I have been able to rediscover & realign my skills to give direction & purpose, as I approach ‘mid-life’ and beyond!Somewhat sceptical initially, I have learned that through attending regular sessions in a welcoming and private space, approaching life’s challenges with an open-mind, being honest with yourself (& others close to you) in allowing your ‘true’ self to be seen - the vulnerability bit - can help you frame these challenges in a much more positive way. I looked forward to seeing Georgina; the intelligent conversation, the non-judgemental accountability the session offered & of course, the closing hypnotherapy. One of my friends once described me as morose, and this label really sunk in with me. That was a few years ago, but ever since I’ve been acutely aware that I tend to be the more half empty kind of guy in the room, and I wasn’t happy about it. The problem was I found myself in a rut and it was much easier to accept gloom as the norm rather than do anything about it. I met Georgina through a mutual friend and began having regular sessions with her at the beginning of 2018. Since then I have noticed that I cope better with stress and have a much happier outlook on life. I’m not perfect, but considering I started out as a morose 3 out of 10 on the happiness scale, I’m now a pretty constant 6 who is heading for a 7!

Anxiety and Depression:
I came to Georgina at around the same time as starting a new senior role in Hong Kong and sought help on the advice of my wife in order to try to reduce my anxiety, which I have struggled with on a daily basis alongside depression. This combination and the stress of a new job meant I was eager to give anything that gave me back control whilst keeping me sharp and focused (prescribed medication wasn't an option). Several sessions with Georgina did the trick; her vizualisations helped me recalibrate and she also gave me tools that continue to help me stay calm at work. For anyone who similarly finds everyday life can be overwhelming, then I thoroughly recommend giving a series of hypnotherapy sessions with Georgina a try. It’s an ongoing commitment, but thoroughly worthwhile.

"I am Happy being me"
My daughter first met Georgina through her participation in one of Georgina's group workshops. After completing several more group workshops she began to noticeably thrive thanks to discovering new abilities in herself without the pressures and anxieties of everyday life and schooling. When the opportunity arose for my daughter to further develop these newly learnt skills In one to one sessions with Georgina we went ahead. These focused on helping my daughter build her self-confidence and learn new ways to cope with stress and anxiety. Working with Georgina has provided many wonderful benefits. Max came to the Discover Balance Colour workshops to help with anger/frustration issues to learn coping strategies and find peace within himself. He was very receptive to the relaxation part of the workshops, he appeared to really enjoy the meditations checking out where they were on the list of the each colour workshop program. I honestly was surprised at how much he liked and accepted the meditation process. He's normally a very restless person. Georgina Delamain has been working with my 9 year old daughter for the past nine months. My daughter, Eleanor suffers from bouts of paralysing anxiety and severe lack of confidence. This anxiety makes it difficult for her to accomplish everyday tasks such as going to school, going out with friends or dealing with change of any kind. Georgina works one-on-one with Eleanor for at least two hours twice a month. Eleanor enjoys her time with Georgina immensely and has shown marked improvement in her outlook. She is also developing the ability to recognise the signs of her anxiety and when they begin to show Eleanor uses the techniques Georgina has shown her to calm herself. Eleanor responds brilliantly to Georgina's use of all her senses in every session and through Discover Balance she is discovering her own balance along with an improved sense self esteem. The results have been so successful that Eleanor's teachers and other adults who know her have commented on this Improvement in self-confidence. Working with Georgina is giving Eleanor a base to develop Into a functioning, exceptional child.
